On Saturday, May 9, 2015 a celebration of the life of Dianne Davis will be held at the Danville Christian Church, 180 West Main Street, Danville, Indiana, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a service of remembrance to follow at 3:00 p.m

THE LAST FARWELL

We grieve for the loss we feel

And while that grieving is real

We also must rejoice

To know that she made the choice

To follow the Lord of her life

Who eases all stress and strife

For her the victory was won

In her choice to follow God’s Son

And this time that has come is best

God has granted her eternal rest

Times of trouble will be no more

As she has entered that heavenly door

So it’s time for our last farewell

Till we meet again where the angels dwell

Dianne is survived by her children,  Chad Robison (Sherri), Mike Johnson (Amanda) and Amanda Johnson; mother, Jean Davis; sister, Sherry Scott (Dennis); grandchildren, Hannah Denson, Camden Denson, Maximus Bredl, Jordan Johnson, Beckett Johnson, and Baynx Johnson; nieces and nephews, Nick Scott, Matt Scott, Tyler Scott (Brandy) Sam Scott and Liz Thomas (Richard).  Dianne’s father Jerry Davis preceded her in death.

Although her time with us was too short we have much to celebrate and invite her extended family and friends to share in the celebration with us.
